Tips for Your First Nudist Trip

Here are some things-to-know for kids going on their first social nudism adventure —such as at a nudist resort, club, campground, or family-friendly event:

It’s Okay to Feel Nervous
It’s completely normal to feel weird or shy—especially around people you don’t know. Most of those feelings fade quickly once you spend some time naked.

Wear Sunscreen
Being naked in the sun feels great, but you need to make sure you don't get burned, especially in areas where you'll have to wear clothes later!

Always remember: Arms, legs, tummy, back and don’t forget your little crack!

Go at Your Own Pace
If you’re not ready to take off your clothes right away, that’s okay. Many places allow you to stay dressed until you feel more comfortable, however, nudity is often required when swimming.

Bring a Towel
You’ll need one! It’s polite (and hygienic) to sit on a towel when you’re sitting anywhere.

Ask Questions
If you’re unsure about what’s expected, what’s okay, or what others are doing—ask a trusted adult. There are no silly questions.

Be Kind to Yourself
Your body is still growing and changing, and that’s normal. Everyone’s is. Don't worry about being perfect. Social nudism can actually help you feel better about your body, because you’ll see how different and normal everyone else is, too.

Don’t Feel Pressured
You get to decide what you’re comfortable with. If you’re not ready to join a group activity, it’s fine to watch first. Being part of the space doesn’t mean doing everything right away.

Respect Others’ Space
Just like in any setting, be kind, respectful, and mindful of people’s boundaries. Ask before hugging someone and don’t stare or point. If you’re not sure, just act the way you would at a normal public place—because nudist spaces are normal to the people there.

It’s Ok to Make Friends Slowly
Believe it or not, nudist kids can be shy too! Just because someone is comfortable being naked does not mean they are comfortable talking to strangers! Just remember to act like you normally would, you can talk about regular stuff like games, pets, or hobbies. Being naked isn’t what friendships are about—it’s just part of the setting.

Have Fun!
Nudist resorts and events often have pools, games, hikes, sports, or crafts. Try something new, explore, and enjoy being outside without worrying about what you’re wearing.

No Press Coverage Policy

Our primary mission is to provide a safe and private environment for families to embrace the nudist lifestyle. To uphold this mission and protect the integrity of our community, we do not permit press coverage or media inquiries at our events.

This policy exists for the following reasons:

Member Privacy and Comfort

All of our members are families with children who value the privacy and discretion offered by our group. Media exposure may inadvertently reveal personal details or identities, compromising this trust and subjecting our members to unwarranted judgement or intimidation.

Misrepresentation Concerns

Nudism is often misunderstood, and public narratives can oftentimes mischaracterize our values and activities. By avoiding media attention, we reduce the risk of misrepresentation or sensationalism that could harm our community or its members. If you’d like to learn about our values we suggested you learn more here.

Focus on Safety
Contrary to popular misconceptions, nudist go to great lengths to protect our families and our children. By not sharing any information about our events we protect ourselves from harrassment or worse. We thoroughly vet who becomes a member of our group and the venues we use to host our events.

While we do not invite press coverage, we are happy to provide general information about our group and the nudist lifestyle through controlled channels such as our website, blog posts, or outreach efforts. We also have some families who are willing to talk to the press and we would gladly put you in touch with them. If you have questions or are curious about our mission, please contact us directly.

Thank you for respecting our commitment to maintaining a safe and comfortable space for all members.
