Mission Statement: To provide fun and fellowship to nudist families.

How to Join Como Families:

Thanks for your interest in joining Como Famliies. Our goal is to maintain a safe, welcoming, family friendly environment for nudist families therefore we take our screening process very seriously.

We define nudism as finding happiness and comfort in being naked.

We welcome families of all types with the following understandings:

👶🏼 All families have at least one adult (guardian) who is responsible for at least one child (under the age of 15).
👍🏽 Everyone in your family must be open (or eager) to trying nudism.
📱 The online portion of our group, while being 100% family friendly, is for the adults. (More information about the forums is here.)
🥳 You should plan on attending several events per year.
🚫 There is zero tolerance for inappropriate conduct online and in person.

Complete an online application. This method requires a brief video call meeting with your family.

Schedule a meet and greet at a local nudist resort, or be referred by another member

Friends by Association


If you belong to a Nudist Association or Club expedite the application process by sharing proof of that membership for you and your family.

Complete this simple form and someone will reach out to you to set-up a meet and greet.

Currently, we are located only in the Tampa Bay region of Florida and prefer to do our meetings at Lake Como in southern Pasco County. There is a fee for visiting Lake Como.

If you are being referred by an active member simply mention their name and we'll confirm your elgibility with them!

No Press Coverage Policy

Our primary mission is to provide a safe and private environment for families to embrace the nudist lifestyle. To uphold this mission and protect the integrity of our community, we do not permit press coverage or media inquiries at our events.

This policy exists for the following reasons:

Member Privacy and Comfort

All of our members are families with children who value the privacy and discretion offered by our group. Media exposure may inadvertently reveal personal details or identities, compromising this trust and subjecting our members to unwarranted judgement or intimidation.

Misrepresentation Concerns

Nudism is often misunderstood, and public narratives can oftentimes mischaracterize our values and activities. By avoiding media attention, we reduce the risk of misrepresentation or sensationalism that could harm our community or its members. Focus on Safety
Contrary to popular misconceptions, nudist go to great lengths to protect our families and our children. By not sharing any information about our events we protect ourselves from harrassment or worse. We thoroughly vet who becomes a member of our group and the venues we use to host our events.

While we do not invite press coverage, we are happy to provide general information about our group and the nudist lifestyle through controlled channels such as our website, blog posts, or outreach efforts. We also have some families who are willing to talk to the press and we would gladly put you in touch with them. If you have questions or are curious about our mission, please contact us directly.
